Switchback-Cardiac Loop

Switchback-Cardiac Loop, Allamuchy Mountain State Park (9/20/2015)

We hiked a good part of this area back in 2011 when we searched for the elusive vista on the Cardiac trail with no success. Today we returned to hike the entire Cardiac trail once again (still no view) but in addition did the orange-blazed Switchback Loop. Specifically, on this map we parked on Stuyvesant Road, at the beginning of the White trail, took White to Orange which we took to Purple, passing (again) the area marked by the vista star without seeing any. At the end of Purple we took White back west to the car. way back to the car.

Total distance hiked today was 5.4 miles in under 3 hours.
