This is Trail #11 ("Point Dume") in
Top Trails Los Angeles. This was the third of five
spectacular hikes we did during our five-day stay in Los Angeles from October 17 to October 21. Like the previous hike, this one is also
in the Malibu area (less than a 10 minute drive from the other hike). But this one actually visits the Pacific Ocean and climbs above it for amazing views in nearly
all directions. Lizards abound in the sand and pelicans can be seen flying above the ocean fishing.
