Jacob's Creek Trail

Jacob's Creek Trail, Hopewell Township (5/22/2016)

This is the first of two areas we visited today in Central New Jersey. After a couple of days of rain, Jacob's Creek was flowing nicely and the entire trail was bathed in green.

Using this map, we parked at the kiosk on Pennington Titusville Road and first hiked the short out-and-back south. For those who want to see the creek up close, this small section, which skirts the bank nearly the entire length, is the part to hike. Heading back north we crossed the road and continued all the way north to Pennington Harbourton Road, the northern end of the trail. At this point we turned back and headed back to the car.

Total distance hiked was 2.7 miles in 100 minutes.
