Kennedy Dells Park

Kennedy Dells Park (7/26/2015)
This is the first time we hiked this nice little area very close to High Tor State Park. The park was featured as a Hike of the Week at the NYNJTC site two weeks ago. That hike was 2.4-miles long, a bit short for us. But an examination of the park map showed additional trails that were not part of that hike. So we headed there today and hiked every trail (or at least 95% of them) in the place. It should be noted that the trails in White on the map are actually woods roads and are closed the traffic. This is not clear when looking at the map since they appear to be the same as the road leading into the park. Everything west of the soccer fields is hikeable because traffic is not allowed further than the western parking area (denoted by a P on the map to the north and west of the soccer fields).

Total distance hiked today was 5 miles (twice that of the aforementioned hike) in just a bit over 2.5 hours.
