Hew Hampshire

Hew Hampshire (week of June 8, 2008)

Laura and I spent a wonderful 4 days and 5 nights in central New Hampshire. Our friends Joan and Debbie were amazingly generous in allowing us to use their gorgeous log cabin near Newfound Lake. (Laura and I are seriously thinking of getting one for ourselves now.) The bulk of our stay was dedicated to hiking the beautiful mountains in the area and just north in the White Mountains. Most of the photos from this trip can be found in the various hike collections: Mt. Cardigan (June 9), Hebron Marsh (June 10), Welch & Dickey Mountains (June 11), West Rattlesnake Mountain (June 11), Mounts Morgan & Percival (June 12), and Eagle Cliff (June 12).

However, believe it or not, we still had time to do things around the area of our cabin. One has lots of time on their hands when there is no internet access! So the photos in this collections are from places we saw while driving to dinner or that we found in the book Off the Beaten Path: New Hampshire.
