This is the Hike of the Week for 9/11/2008 as seen
on the NYNJTC website.
This hike uses two brand new trails in Norvin Green State Forest, the orange-blazed Lake Sonoma trail and the white-blazed Overlook Rock trail. We hiked the Lake Sonoma trail earlier this year but the trail wasn't quite finished and there were no scenic views at that time. Now completed, it leads to the wonderful Overlook Rock with awesome views to the east.
