Tower Hill Reserve

Tower Hill Reserve (9/1/2014)

I've been meaning to return here ever since we hiked Jugtown Mountain Preserve last year. Back then we didn't have time to hike the extra 2-3 miles of this reserve which happens to be right across the street from Jugtown. And since 2-3 miles is on the short side, I saved it for a day when we couldn't afford more than a couple of hours. That was today, Labor Day. We headed back to the pull-off on Mountain View Road and following this map did every trail on the eastern side of the street, as well as the field loop just west. It's a nice little area with nothing spectacular but a few hills, lots of open fields and a couple of views down power line cuts.

Total distance hiked was exactly 3 miles in an hour and 45 minutes.
