This is Trip #35 ("Ashokan Reservoir") from the book
AMC's Best Day Hikes in the Catskills and Hudson Valley (April 2011). Along the way we saw a bald eagle in flight (I got a
photo, albeit of his backside). This was the first of seven hikes we did in the Catskills during a five-day stay in Woodstock, New York.
Total distance hiked was 4.9 miles in 100 minutes.
