Using this map, we parked in the large camp lot and did every trail in the park, in a manner too difficult to describe here. It should be noted that we found a trail that isn't on the map. It heads exactly east from the trail just north of the lake loop. It crosses Prescott Brook and leads under Route 31 to the Hunterdon County Arboretum, which we did two months ago. So it's possible to combine Echo Hill with that area for a nearly five-mile hike. By the way, the kiosk at the parking lot has a complete collection of Hunterdon County park brochures.
