This was the second preserve we visited today, only five or six minutes by car from the South Branch Preserve North. This preserve is smaller, but once again has a
lovingly manicured and blazed trail.
Using
this map we parked at the end of Shop Lane and headed into the woods,
following the lollipop in a clockwise direction, eating lunch on one of the benches with a view of one of the open fields, as an Eastern goldfinch watched.
Total distance today was about 1.3 mile in about 55 minutes.
