Back in April of this year, we hiked in this area along a newly-blazed loop that visited five ponds. We returned today to do the southern part of that loop, but
worked in some unblazed woods roads that we had never done before. The unblazed paths in this park are easily navigable, so we plan on returning to do even more
of them.
Once again, we parked in dirt lot C, and started by heading south along the new pink-blazed Five Ponds Loop, hiking a few other trails, including a visit to Warm Puppy Rock on the red-blazed trail. In the southern stretched, we worked in some woods roads before returning to Lot C along the pink trail. You can see our entire track here. Total distance was 3.7 miles in just over 2 hours.
