Merrill Creek Environmental Preserve
It was two months ago that we hiked around the Merrill Reservoir. Today we returned to hike nearly all of the trails east of the reservoir, the trails that most people neglect when they visit (including us, since this is actually our fourth visit). This area is known as the Merrill Creek Environmental Preserve.

Using the map on the second page of this brochure, we once again parked in the very large lot north of the visitor center and headed into the woods on a hike too complicated to describe here. You can see our track here

Total distance hiked today was almost 5 miles in just under 2.5 hours.
